Diplomate of National Board(DNB)

Nazareth Hospital is one of the 450 accredited institutions from across India for imparting training in Post Graduate training in the broad specialties of Pediatrics, General Medicine and General Surgery. The Diplomate qualifications awarded by the National Board of Examinations have been equated with the postgraduate and post doctorate degrees awarded by other Indian Universities by the Government of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare; vide their notifications issued from time to time. The holders of Board’s qualification awarded after an examination (DNB Final) are eligible to be considered for specialists post in any Hospital including training/teaching institution. (Kindly refer to gazette notification dated 20th February 2009 issued in this regard by Government of India.)


The students are allotted seats in this institution following counseling after passing their CET examinations held twice every year. The students in all broad specialties in Nazareth Hospital are allotted seats in the June session. They are provided bachelor student accommodation within the campus.


This 425 bedded hospital is blessed to have a very heavy flow of patients (both OPD and IPD) which are excellent learning materials for post graduate training. 24 hrs broad band internet, well stocked library and teaching facilities aims to provide the best atmosphere for learning. Most consultants and teachers reside within the campus.
